Have you ever asked yourself what your passion is?

What is your life purpose?

What are your goals?

What is the value of yourself?

What is your future?

You may find the answer, and you may not. And you will keep looking. And that’s good; it’s what makes you humble and opens up endless possibilities.

The pure certainty of oneself only makes people entitled.

Someone who believes they are smart tends to be stupid. Someone who believes they are beautiful tends to be ugly. Someone who believes they are rich tends to be poor. Someone who believes they are the most open-minded tends to be the most closed-minded person.

Contradictory, right?

The pure certainty comes from the desire within ourselves to crave security. But the truth is life doesn’t work that way.

Within security, everything is predictable. And you are not open to new ideas and new possibilities, which are very important in today’s world.

Because every day brings new challenges, new knowledge, and it never ends.

One of my favorite quotes from Eckhart Tolle is:

“When you become comfortable with uncertainty, infinite possibilities open up in your life. It means fear is no longer a dominant factor in what you do, and it no longer prevents you from taking action to initiate change. The Roman philosopher Tacitus rightly observed that ‘the desire for safety stands against every great and noble enterprise.’ If uncertainty is unacceptable to you, it turns into fear. If it is perfectly acceptable, it turns into aliveness, alertness, and creativity.”

The key is, you can have value, but still be open to new ideas. I love the quote from “The Alchemist” by Paulo Coelho that says, “The secret of happiness is to see all the marvels of the world and never to forget the drops of oil on the spoon.”

Once we embrace uncertainties, stop running, and start confronting them, we can begin to find courage and confidence, with a humble start each day being a canvas that you can always paint more beautifully.

How lucky are we to be able to have uncertainties and possibilities every day?
